A Southern California native, I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, a suburb north of Los Angeles. As an adult, I moved to beautiful Orange County, CA, where I met my awesome husband. We have two dogs and oftentimes a foster dog or foster puppies who get spoiled by us until they are adopted.

I’ve always been interested in real estate, but not directionally gifted. I waited until consumer GPS’s were accurate enough to get me where I needed to go and then took the plunge into real estate.
Prior to becoming a real estate agent I was an account manager in the promotional products industry. During this time, I assisted my clients with marketing through the use of logo imprinted promotional products. I was consistently a top producer, earning awards year after year. My clients included but were not limited to Ford Credit, Ford Dealers Advertising Association of Southern California, Macy’s, PacifiCare, FHP HealthCare, UHP HealthCare, Cigna and Talbert Medical Group. This transferable experience helped me strengthen necessary skills that allow me to be both a strong real estate agent and a savvy businessperson.
My goal in real estate is the same now as it was in my previous industry; to provide my clients not only with great service, but added value. Although I’m the first to jump in and work to solve a problem, I focus on anticipating and preventing them in the first place.
I’m hands on and have been known to help trim up the yard and work with clients on tasks that help their home shine. The Murty patio furniture, potted plants, throw pillows, vases, etc. have been used to help stage listings. I have also brought my stager to listings to tour the property with sellers and provide detailed notes with her recommendations. Once the property is ready, I have it professionally photographed to help make the first impression the best impression.
Real estate is a serious business and I treat it that way. I keep my clients informed at whatever level of detail suits them. We discuss in advance the stages of a transaction and things that can occur along the way. This tends to help clients view the bumps that may show up as the minor things they usually are. As serious as this business is, it’s important to keep things light. Laughter is a good thing and I think that in addition to my knowledge of the business, marketing & negotiation skills and dedication to my clients, my sense of humor is a real asset.
A good portion of my business is repeat and referral. There’s a good reason for that. I earn the trust of my clients and continue to do so. My clients know they can count on me to work in their best interests, always. As my clients and I get to know each other, a friendship often develops and that’s one of the greatest benefits of being a real estate agent.
Once when I was chatting with a client, she commented she liked that I’m so real. I laughed and said “Yeah, I put the real in real estate.” I sort of brushed it off. The client stopped me and said “No, I mean it. You tell me the truth; not just what I want to hear. I know I can trust what you say.” Wow, I thought that was pretty neat.
